Due to the aramid yarns of the carcass in wrap direction, belts of high tensile strengths with low elongation (limited take up travel) can be constructed, allowing them to be ideal for long distance – large capacity transportation lines. 

The specific straight wrap structure of the belt carcass consisting of aramid yarns in warp direction and two polyamide layers in weft, connected with bonding polyamide yarns, ensures a very strong construction resulting to excellent impact and tear resistance. 

Belt is thinner than the ST belt but just as strong thus requiring less power.
