The CVBtech steel cord belt
The belt carcass consists of zinc galvanized steel cords covered by bonding rubber, which penetrates and adheres to the cords, providing corrosion resistance and excellent adhesions.
Due to the CVBtech advanced compound system, the belt top and bottom covers are satisfying every application.
Main features
- High carrying capacity with high speed and high belt strength
- Long distance carrying with limited take up travel because of low elongation
- Long working life with lowest maintenance costs
In order to increase the impact and cut resistance, one or two extras
- fabric breaker/s with weft fibers of high elongation or
- metal layer/s of high elongation weft cords
can reinforce the belt. So:
- belt protection from longitudinal cuts, increases up to 50%
- impact resistance of the belt, increases up to 100%
without belt troughability to be affected, meaning same pulley diameter can be used.
The CVBtech steel cord belt with or without the weft reinforcement specified above can be used as elevator and elevator bucket belt as well.
Reliability can be further increased by embedding conductor loops into the top cover so that an electronic unit “observes “ belt condition and stops belt operation if a longitudinal rip is identified.
