The CVBtech steelflex belt
The SteelFlex belt is equipped with a unique steel cord carcass consisting of one layer of high elongation cords in warp direction and one or two weft high elongation or regular cords in weft direction (SteelFlexIW, SteelFlexSW-HE, SteelFlexISW-RE)
The most suitable construction should be used depending on each application. F. e the SteelFlex belt with insertion of:
- weft cords of high breaking elongation, is protecting the belt in enormous extent against ripping and impact shocks, the tear strength and impact resistance of the belt is increased
- warp cords of high elongation have a unique ability to replace textile belts without significant modifications of the conveyor system
- regular weft cords transforms the SteelFlex belt to a cross rigid belt used in elevator belt applications. In cases of bucket elevator applications belts can be delivered with cable free zones according customer’s requirement.
